Panorama-Panthers-Picture11The Panorama Schools sent three teams to a recent testing competition in Fort Dodge, and all three teams returned with good results.

A team of Middle School students, 9th & 10th graders and then 11th and 12th graders, took part in the Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science competition against dozens of area high schools at Iowa Central Community College last week, and all performed well… to say the least.

In the two-part competition, the teams had to take an initial multiple choice test and then produce an essay that incorporated science and math in real life engineering scenarios.

Middle School students Devyn Kemble, Madi Fear, Noah Kurtly, Tre Cobb, Hope Wilderman, Carson Fisher, Nicole Rolfes and Kaleb Randel took home the first-place medal in their division.

In the 9th & 10th grade division, Austin Behrends, Justin Rolfes, Benjamin Marwedel, Peyton Parker, Dalton Bonker and Grant Zijacek helped reel in a second-place finish for Panorama.

At the 11th & 12th grade level, Collin Woodvine, Austin Behrends, Ben Carroll and Matthew Marwedel combined to merit a participation honor for the Panthers.
