Funeral services for Darlene Peters, 77, of Glidden will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Glidden United Methodist Church.  Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden after 5:00 P.M. on Friday where there will be a prayer service held at 7:00 P.M.  The casket will be moved to the church at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until the time of service. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden and online condolences may be left for Darlene’s family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com

Darlene is survived by five children:  a son Michael Halligan and his wife Dawn of Liberty Hill, Texas; a daughter Debra Halligan of Glidden; a son Scott Halligan and his wife Lori of Jefferson; a son Curt Peters of Des Moines; and a son Carlan Peters and his wife Julie of Glidden.  She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren with one on the way; a sister Pearl Henke of Racine Minnesota; and a sister Mary Bell of Stewartville, Minnesota; a sister-in-law Mary Jane Baugh of Friend, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.
