Both Perry track teams are hoping to get consistent production from the field events this year with the Bluejays returning a lot of firepower in the long jump and the Jayettes being led by a former college thrower.  Perry will look to the dynamic long jump duo of Ben Daniels and Will Whiton to spring Perry to some early points.  The two finished third and fourth last year the state meet.  Scott James has also showed improvement in the long jump.  Meanwhile, the Perry girls will look for guidance from their Head Coach in the throwing events.  Emi Einck was a state thrower for Perry in high school and continued her career in college.  She will lead a young cast in the shot put and discus throws tonight.
