A reminder to Stuart area residents, the Stuart Fire & Rescue Departments are hosting their open house and recruitment day event this coming weekend.

Fire Chief Mike Renslow invites all area residents to attend and check-out some of the new equipment and apparatus used by both departments.  Stuart Fire will also soon be receiving new air pack bottles, a repeater device and a floating strainer after being awarded a grant of just over $4,000 by the Guthrie County Community Foundation.  

For anyone interested in joining Stuart Fire or Stuart Rescue, numerous members of current staff will be on-hand to answer any questions you might have.  There will also be discussion about Stuart Rescue’s vacant director position.

Refreshments will be provided as part of the open house, which starts at noon on Saturday at the Stuart Fire Hall.
