Voter FraudAbsentee ballots for the June 3rd primary election are available at the Greene County Courthouse in Jefferson.

County Deputy Auditor Billie Jo Hoskins says eligible voters can vote before the June 3rd primaries now at the County Auditor’s office Monday through Friday from 8am-4:30pm.  She notes that you can also request an absentee ballot by mail after filling out and submitting an absentee request form by clicking here.

Hoskins points out that the auditor’s office will be conducting its normal test of their election equipment on Tuesday, May 20th starting at 10am.  She comments that they will have the OpenElect Voting Optical scanners and OpenElect Voting Interface machines going on the third floor of the courthouse until all equipment is tested.

Hoskins adds that the testing is a formality and that there’s nothing wrong with the equipment.

If you haven’t registered to vote and you are a resident of Greene County and are over 18 years-old, then you can sign-up to be a registered voter by filling out a registration form in the auditor’s office.
