Friday, May 2nd

A deputy assisted the Churdan Fire and Rescue with a male at 600 Dudley Street in Churdan that was experiencing shortness of breath. The male patient refused any further medical attention.

A deputy was dispatched back to 600 Dudley Street in Churdan to mediate a verbal dispute between two females.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office was advised of a suspicious vehicle and a male subject representing himself as a Kirby Vacuum salesman in the 2300 block of 185th Street.

A deputy spoke with an out of state resident that had called to inform the Sheriff’s Office of a sexual assault that may have occurred in Greene County approximately four years ago. The caller advised that this was for informational purposes only and wanted no action taken at this time.

A deputy was advised by a Rippey resident of receiving a suspicious phone call concerning his VISA credit card account. The resident did not offer any information when asked for by the caller.

A deputy while on routine patrol checked a pickup truck experiencing mechanical problems on 220th Street near K Avenue. The owner of the vehicle was advised to have the truck removed within 24 Hours.

A deputy was dispatched to a reported dog running at large in the Scranton Cemetery. The deputy was unable to locate the dog upon his arrival.

A deputy was asked to check on the welfare of a student attending the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to Cooper for the report of criminal mischief to private property by 4-wheel ATV’s. All parties involved were spoken to by the deputy.

Saturday, May 3rd

A deputy was asked by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office to speak with the parent of a male subject that Carroll County was trying to locate.

A deputy was asked to help with traffic control during a funeral procession at the intersection of 220th Street and P 14 (J Ave).

A deputy assisted personnel from the Greene County Emergency Medical services with removing a patient from the 900 block of Main Street in Scranton.

A deputy investigated the report of trespassing on private property in the 1400 block of 210th  Street.

A deputy was dispatched to the Casey’s General Store in Scranton for a reported gas drive off. The vehicle and driver were not located by the deputy.

Sunday, May 4th

A deputy assisted several officers of the Jefferson Police Department with the pursuit of a vehicle and the subsequent arrest of an intoxicated male subject.

A deputy was dispatched to the Casey’s General Store in Scranton to help persuade a young male that he needed to return to his father in a child custody civil issue.

A deputy helped resolve a child custody civil dispute at a residence in the 300 block of 7th Street South in Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
