perry logoThe Perry City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

Items on the agenda include three public hearings in regards to apron rehabilitation at the airport, a loan guarantee for the Nudgers in a principal amount not to exceed $750,000 and voluntary annexation for Midwest Oilseeds, Stine Seed Farm, Struyk’s Slopes and Knoll Properties.

The Council will then consider contracts for insurance renewal for city employees, consider approving voluntary annexations, enter into a guarantee agreement with the Nudgers and approve an amendment to the agreement with the Region XII Council of Governments.

An amendment to the agreement with Brown Engineering who is working on HVAC improvements will then be considered, along with the first pay request for the 2014 hangar project.

New business items include consideration of a resolution extending the option to purchase and economic development agreement with Newbury Living, authorization of sale of unused equipment and property and setting a public hearing in regards to a budget amendment.

Appointments will then be made to the Historic Preservation Commission, the Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Park and Recreation Advisory Board and a request will be made to fill the full time park and recreation director position.

The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
