The ADM girls track team is the champion of the Raccoon River Conference, and as expected, the Tigers narrowly edged out Boone in Saturday’s meet.
The Tigers won seven events in Saturday’s conference meet, and as she has for much of the year, Kari Dufoe dazzled individually for ADM. Dufoe won the 100 and 200-meter races Saturday, and got second in the 400 in a photo finish. She is now ranked first, second and third in Class 3-A in the 100, 200 and 400-meters, respectively.
On the relay side, ADM’s 4×100, 4×400, 4×800 and distance medley squads picked up wins.
In the boys’ competition Saturday, ADM finished fifth in the conference. Boone finished atop the boys standings.
The Tigers’ got strong individually performances from hurdler Tate Jensen and shot putter Jesse Bennett Saturday. Jensen won both the 110 and 400-meter hurdles, while Bennett edged out Alex Stenbo of Carroll to win the shot put event.
