Kathryn Thornton of Charleston, Ill., was traveling east on Interstate 80 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.
Wayne Douglas Hartman of Waukee was traveling in the 27000 block of Highway 6 when he lost control, entered the median and hit a bump next to a drainage culvert. The passenger fell off the motorcycle and was injured in the fall. There was no damage to the motorcycle.
James Schutte of 31792 Houston Ct., Adel reported that someone had broken into their house and also a vehicle that was parked at the residence. It did not appear that anything was missing.
Tercio Lopes of 31600 Silverado Ln, Waukee reported that someone had spray painted a window on his house.
