A deputy was unable to locate a reported vehicle in the ditch two miles south of Scranton on Highway 25.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff, a Jefferson Police Officer and personnel from the Greene County Emergency Medical Services all responded to a medical call in the 400 block of West McKinley Street in Jefferson. A Genesis Development worker was reported to have been injured in some way, but it was later determined that she had tripped and fallen. The worker was given medical attention on site.

A deputy while on routine patrol located a vehicle in the ditch on U Avenue near 285th Street. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was towed from the scene. The owner of the vehicle was determined and advised of the towing.

A deputy was advised of an ongoing harassment situation between school age youth that had occurred at a Jefferson residence and the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction.

A deputy was advised of a gas drive off from the Casey’s General Store in Lohrville. The subject was pursued by Lohrville firefighter and was reported to be entering Greene County. With assistance of the firefighter giving direction of travel, the Greene County Deputy was able to locate and stop the vehicle at 140th Street and S Avenue. A Calhoun County Deputy soon arrived on scene to speak with the driver.

A deputy was asked to perform a welfare check on a male subject in Churdan. The male was determined to be safe.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
