The Guthrie County Extension & Outreach Office will be offering a new childcare training course next month.
“Don’t Give Kids a Tummy Ache!” will talk about food-borne illnesses, while helping parents, grandparents or childcare providers learn how to differentiate between a flu and a food-borne illness. The course will also discuss how food becomes unsafe, as well as how to protect children from food-borne illness.
The cost to participate in the program is $10 and pre-registration is required. It will be held on Wednesday, June 25th, at the Extension Office in Guthrie Center.
