Greene County Medical Center is offering vascular ultrasound testing with Iowa Mobile.

Every Tuesday and Friday, Iowa Mobile will be at the medical center in Jefferson for any patient to have vascular testing done so that patients can stay locally to receive this kind of care.

Community Relations Director Carla Offenburger says in order for someone to receive testing with Iowa Mobile must first obtain a physician’s order and schedule their appointment through the medical center’s radiology department.

Offenburger notes that every fourth Tuesday, Dr. Nick Southard is at the hospital’s vascular surgery clinic.  He provides state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatments for patients with vascular diseases and non-cardiac vascular disorders such as veins outside of the heart.
