When the Iowa High School Coed State Track & Field Meet is held May 22-23-24 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area will be well represented. There are 90 events (45 girls, 45 boys) that RVR will be reporting on later this week from 10 different schools. Reports all three days can be heard on KDLS 1310 AM, KGRA 98.9 FM, and KKRF 107.9 FM. Reports will also be streamed on raccoonvalleyradio.com and can be heard on iPhones and Smartphones with free apps from your app store.

Below is a breakdown of area schools and the number of girls and boys events qualified for State competition:

ADM- 12 for girls, six for boys

Adair-Casey- one for girls, five for boys

Coon Rapids-Bayard – two for girls, none for boys

Greene County- 12 for girls, seven for boys

Guthrie Center- three for girls, none for boys

Panorama- nine for girls, 10 for boys

Paton-Churdan – none for girls, two for boys

Perry- one for girls, five for boys

West Central Valley- one for girls, none for boys

Woodward-Granger – four for girls, 10 for boys
