A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a domestic disturbance in Jefferson.

A deputy responded to an alarm activation at the Peoples Bank in Grand Junction.  The bank was determined to be secure.

A deputy is investigating a reported harassment complaint in the 900 block of Sand Street in Churdan.

A deputy spoke with a Jefferson resident about receiving harassing phone messages from her daughter that resides in Grand Junction.

Deputy David Kersey responded to Scranton to investigate the report of a male juvenile that was brandishing a handgun and allowing other youth to view and handle the gun on school property at the bus stop. The juvenile was located and the handgun was determined to be an airsoft pellet gun. Deputy Kersey confiscated the airsoft gun and detained the male until all parents were spoken with about the seriousness and danger of a pellet gun.

A deputy initiated an investigation involving a harassment complaint at the Paton-Churdan School in Churdan.

Tuesday, May 20th

A deputy was dispatched to The Lakeside Golf Course for an automated alarm activation. After the key holder’s arrival, the deputy determined the building to be secure.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
