The Guthrie County Conservation Board and Panora Chamber of Commerce are combining to host an event in early June.

Chamber Treasurer Jaime Waddle says the two organizations are hosting a canoe float trip and continental breakfast on Saturday morning, June 7th.

Weather and water level permitting, those who sign up to participate in the trip will depart from Lenon Mill Park at 8:30am that morning.  Breakfast will be served starting at 8am.

The float trip is estimated to end at the Middle Raccoon River Access Ramp by noon on the 7th.
