Perry junior Will Whiton had the 4th fastest time yesterday in the 100 m dash prelims at the Jim Duncan Track in Des Moines.  Whiton finished in 11.23 which puts him in Saturday’s finals for a possible state championship.  Whiton will compete in the long jump later today.

Keegan Pfau placed 23rd in the 3200 meter run and freshman Emma Olenjzack placed 21st in the 3A girls with a time of 1:04.04.  Perry High Jumper Scott James was 16th with a clearing leap of 5-10.

The Perry boys 4 x 400 relay will run later today.
