The ADM girls golf team won the Raccoon River Conference title this season under Coach of the Year Cris Goodale, but you can throw that title out the window tomorrow.

It’s time for regional postseason play, and the Tigers have been placed in Class 4A’s Region 1 at the Carroll Municipal Golf Course.  Also in the region are Sioux City Bishop Heelan, Denison-Schleswig, Glenwood, Harlan, LeMars, Council Bluffs Lewis Central, Newton, Perry, Spencer, Storm Lake and host Carroll.

Heading into tomorrow’s regional, ADM is actually ranked sixth in Class 4A according to the latest poll from the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association.  The Tigers’ toughest competition will presumably come from Newton tomorrow, who is ranked fifth in the same poll.

The Cardinals enter with the top 18-hole 4-player scoring average with a 376.6.  The Tigers are second in the region with a scoring average of 385.

ADM’s Taylor Boorn, Hayley Willems, Lexi Owen and company tee off at approximately 10am tomorrow.
