The Perry Bluejay baseball team will open the season tonight in Alleman when they take on North Polk.  Varisty game is slated for 7:15 and can be heard with Shawn Kenney on AM 1310 KDLS.  The Bluejays will look to Jeremiah Ellett to make the opening night start.  Will Whiton, Ben Daniels and Kade Van Kirk are expected to start in the outfield.  “Our key this year will be our ability to hit the ball.  We must come out and hit the baseball and score some runs.  More than we did last year,” added Perry Coach Mike Long.
