The Greene County High School baseball and softball teams are at home in Jefferson tonight hosting the Tigerhawks of Colfax-Mingo. The varsity baseball game is scheduled to be broadcast on KG98 with coverage starting at 7:15 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for approximately 7:30 p.m. Coach Mark Sawhill’s Rams are 1-2 overall and 1-2 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play after dropping a 4-3 decision on Friday night in Prairie City to PCM. The Mustangs broke a 3-3 tie by scoring the game-winning run on a double with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Greene County softball team hosts C-M at the City Diamond on East Lincolnway with JV at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 7:30 p.m. Coach Tom Kennedy’s Rams are 3-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
