The Perry baseball team has picked up solid defense and pitching after the first five games of the year.  Perry will look to keep the winning ways going tonight when they open up RRC play at home against the Carroll Tigers.  The Bluejays shut out DC Grimes Monday night 3-0 to run their record to 4-1.  Tyler Thompson went six innings to get the win for Perry.  The Jays will look to get their offense going early tonight.  Perry mustered only two hits Monday night with both hits coming in the first inning.  Nic Wilhelmi and Michael Lansing lead the team with 3 RBI apeice while Will Whiton has stolen 6 of 7 bases on the year.  First pitch is scheduled for 715 tonight.
