A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on Quaker Avenue near 265th Street that had apparently experienced mechanical problems. The deputy placed a 24 hour removal tag upon the car.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer in trying to locate an overdue motorist.

A deputy was dispatched to the Casey’s General Store in Scranton to investigate the possible theft of a purse.

The animal control deputy searched for a dog reported running at large in Paton.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Police Department, together executed a search warrant at the storage facility at 408 E. Highway 30.

A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a Grand Junction resident in the 500 block of S. 9th  Street.

A deputy was advised of cattle on the roadway at Quaker Avenue near 295th Street.  The owner of the cows arrived and helped place them back into the pasture.

In all case when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
