Greene County returns to the baseball diamond tonight after a day off Thursday when Coach Mark Sawhill’s team hosts South Hamilton (Jewell) in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on KG98 with coverage beginning at 7:15 p.m.

The Rams entered the week with an eight-game losing streak, but conference road wins at Colfax-Mingo Monday and Collins-Maxwell-Baxter Wednesday have the Rams in position for three wins in three tries within the conference. Overall, the Rams are 6-12 and they own a 6-8 HOIAC mark. SH does not have a conference victory and the Rams won the first meeting earlier this month in Jewell, 17-0.
