Even though many of the predicted showers stayed away last night, the intense rains that fell during the morning and early afternoon hours have waterlogged the ADM Tiger baseball field, and their home invitation has been cancelled today.

The games against Sergeant Bluff-Luton and Nevada will not be made up.

Over in eastern Iowa, the ADM softball team was able to squeeze in a couple of games at the Solon Invitational.  The Tigers actually picked up two close wins yesterday, knocking off Iowa City High 5-4 and Keokuk 1-0 in eight innings.  Keokuk is actually ranked in 4A, so that win ranks as one of the best in the Rick Dillinger era.

His girls will be back at it again today weather permitting.  The Tigers are scheduled to take on Ottumwa and Des Moines Lincoln to finish up their Solon tournament.
