Sometimes when a team head’s out to western Iowa on a long bus trip, the game that follows isn’t pretty.
That wasn’t case for the ADM softball team last night however.
Rick Dillinger’s club rolled to a 14-0 win over Underwood in just four innings. Molly Jacobsen threw a no-hitter in the shortened ballgame, and she also struck out nine hitters for good measure.
Montanna Popp had the big night at the plate for the Tigers–she went 2-for-3 with a solo homerun. Kenzi Sutton was solid as well, as she went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Last night’s win was the Tigers’ 18th in their past 19 ballgames. ADM is now 22-8 on the season.
