Governor-Branstad-WebGovernor Terry Branstad has announced his appointments to fill Iowa’s boards and commissions.

These appointments were made effective July 1st at the beginning of the new fiscal year, and a few of the appointees are residents from around Raccoon Valley Radio’s coverage areas.

Roxanne Cogil of Jamaica has been appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Brain Injuries, as has Greenfield resident Kendalyn Powell Huff.

Adel’s Marion Valero-Lehman will be part of the Governor’s Fire Service & Emergency Response Council.

Daniel Rittel of Stuart has received an appointment to serve on the Historical Records Advisory Board.

And finally, Jefferson’s Wayne Phipps has been appointed to the Governor’s Preserves Advisory Board.
