A deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Percival Street in Grand Junction to investigate the reported theft of personal property.

Two deputies’ responded to 800 block of Percival in Grand Junction for a vehicle ownership dispute. The deputy’s advised both parties that this is a civil issue.

A deputy and the sheriff spoke with a 20 year old male transient that was walking southbound on N Avenue at 140th Street. The male was transported to Jefferson and was questioned as to why he continues to remain around Greene County.

A deputy was advised by a rural resident in the 2400 block of H Avenue that she had received a phone call from an unknown male caller wanting her to give credit card information or purchase a green dot card and reveal the card information to him and in return receive some type of government grant funds. She did not comply with the caller.

Two deputies were not able to locate a reported erratic semi driver on Highway 30 westbound from Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Anyer Street in Dana to help mediate a verbal dispute between neighbors. Charges are pending further investigation.

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Main Street in Grand Junction to investigate the reported theft of personal property from the residence.

Thursday, July 2nd

A deputy was asked the assist the jailor at the Law Enforcement Center.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
