Today several Greene County offices and businesses will be closed in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse and state offices, the Greene County Chamber, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library, the Jefferson Post Office, the Greene County Community Center and the ISU Extension office in Jefferson will all be closed today.

Library staff would like to remind everyone that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner notes that the Jefferson Municipal Pool will be open until 4pm today due to the holiday.
