As a reminder, the Perry City Hall, public library, McCreary Community Building and water works office are all closed today in observance of Independence Day.
There is also no garbage or recycling collection today and yard waste pick up will resume next week.
Post offices, Dallas County offices and most financial institutions are also closed for the 4th of July.
