Emma TilleyThis year’s Greene County Fair Queen coronation ceremony is now less than three days away.

Emma Tilley is another candidate and she is from Churdan and a recent graduate of Paton-Churdan High School.

She has been in 4-H every year since fourth grade and is entering her final year of eligibility.  Her 4-H club is Cedar Highland.

While in high school, she participated in basketball, volleyball, track, National Honor Society, student council, band, choir and softball.

She will be showing several static exhibits at this year’s county fair with photography, food and nutrition and sewing and she will be exhibiting a horse for the first time.

Tilley talks about why she’s running to be this year’s county fair queen.

“This year has been a lot of firsts for me; first year for softball, first horse show.  So I just kind of think its a good experience just to try and do.”

Tilley is running against Hannah Gunn and Noelle Gray.

The public is invited to the coronation ceremony this Friday at 6:30pm at Clover Hall.
