A deputy assisted personnel from the Department of Human Services with a welfare check at a residence in Grand Junction.

The animal control officer was asked to remove a cat from a residence in the 600 block of Grant Street in Scranton. The cat was taken to the animal shelter in Jefferson.

A deputy helped resolve a verbal dispute between a male and female that had just left the Greene County Courthouse.

Six members of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a  residence in the 300 block of Hendricks Street in Rippey.

A deputy was advised of a female that was walking on 240th Street west of Jefferson.  The female was not located upon the deputy’s arrival.

A deputy was asked by a female caller, that was several hours away from home, to check a residence in the 2100 block of 320th Street. At this time the deputy did check the residence and later determined after the owners returned home, that the house was entered by removing a window. The burglary is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy while on routine patrol found and placed several head of cattle back into a  pasture in the 500 block of D Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
