The 2014 Greene County Fair Queen is Hannah Gunn.

The high school senior to be was selected to represent Greene County at next month’s Iowa State Fair at the queen coronation ceremony Friday night.

She talks about how it felt to be crowned this year’s fair queen.

“It’s an honor to have this opportunity and I’m really excited to go onto the (Iowa) State Fair and pass out ribbons next year which will definitely be a challenge because I’ll be showing on top of that.”

The other candidates were Paton-Churdan 2014 graduate Emma Tilley and Noelle Gray who is going to be a senior in high school.

Each candidate was asked two questions and met the three judges before the coronation ceremony and were interviewed.

The 2013 county fair queen was Hannah’s older sister, Brittany Gunn.
