The Greene County Chamber Golf Outing is on Friday, August 1st.

Board President Ben Yoder says it will be a four-person best shot tournament with the grand prize being a new camper from Finch’s Greene County Motor Company for the hole-in-one contest.

He talks about some of the other golf course competitions that will be continuing throughout the day.

“We’re going to do lady’s and men’s individually in terms of longest drive (and) longest putt for the day in terms of that so there will be several other additional hole prizes on each of the various plays around the field that day.”

The big ticket item for door prizes this year is a new IPad with the evening meal served by the Hotel Pattee in Perry.

The cost for a team is $175 which includes a free evening meal ticket and to be a hole sponsor is another $125.  If a hole sponsor decides to enter a four-person team, then it is only $275.  Cart rental is $25.
