Residents in thirteen different communities are preparing to sell their goods next month during the 12th annual Highway 141 Garage Sale weekend.
The more than 100 mile route extends from Manilla to Des Moines with participants in Manning, Templeton, Coon Rapids, Bagley, Jamaica, Dawson, Perry, Bouton, Woodward, Granger and Grimes.
In addition to your standard garage sales, there will also be vendors and flea markets set up along the route, along with local community organizations and civic groups raising funds by providing refreshments.
Most sales start at 8am Friday, August 1st and Saturday the 2nd and end at their own discretion.
