This month’s Friday Fest was put on by the Perry Chamber alone, but next month they’re again partnering with another local entity to bring more than just live music.
August’s event is a joined effort with the Dallas County Hospital who will be hosting a health fair on August 15th.
Chamber Program Coordinator Chrissy Danger says DCH is always on hand at the monthly summer events but they will have an increased presence next month with blood pressure checks, blood sugar screenings, health information and some goodies.
The final Friday Fest of the summer will also feature live music from the Aquamarine Dream Machine who plays both original and cover songs.
It all takes place in Pattee Park, is free and open to the public.
