Those who participated in the Perry Public Library’s children’s summer reading program will celebrate their accomplishments this evening.

In the past the library has taken kids to the McCreary Community Building to swim as the finale, but this year they’re doing things a little different with a carnival party where kids can play a variety of games and win various prizes.

In order to participate, children must have read at least five hours this summer.

The event starts at 5:30pm and will conclude with the program’s grand prize drawings at 7:00.
