The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield is presenting a special performance next month that will share true stories of U.S. immigrants.

The “Voices from Ellis Island” will be performed by actress Pippa White at 7pm on Thursday August 7th.  It tells the amusing, frightening, inspiring and true stories of those who made their way to America through Ellis Island in the 1800 and 1900s.

White will portray an entire cast of real life characters in the 70 minute show.  She created the popular “Story of the Orphan Train” two years ago which was performed for a sold out audience.  The part theater, part storytelling, part history performance touches audiences of all walks of life.
