Jefferson Police BadgeJefferson Police have issued three warrants on three alleged suspects for several charges from earlier this month.

Police Chief Dave Morlan says an alleged incident occurred on Sunday, August 10th at 2:46pm when authorities responded to a 911 call at 505 West Washington Street.

According to the affidavit, Jennifer Millard was renting the property and had agreed to sublease the property to her daughter, 23 year-old Hollie Jericka Millard.  Hollie’s boyfriend, 23 year-old Anthony Wayne Genovese and his brother, 26 year-old Stephen Patrick Genovese, III were also living there.

Due to not paying Jennifer rent, she had the power shut-off and the appliances removed so she could move back into the property.  On the day in question, Jennifer noticed her bicycle was at the end of the driveway damaged, when she approached the home, she accuses Stephen Genovese was coming at her with a golf club.  Her statement alleges Genovese chasing her to her vehicle where he swung the golf club, causing damage to the windshield.  She then got out of the vehicle and ran to a safe distance and call 911.

When authorities arrived, the reports states that the 26 year-old suspect fled on foot wearing only blue boxers.

During the investigation, officers found $380 in damages inside the residence was done including two end tables completely destroyed, doors to an entertainment center were torn off, and the door to a dryer was also ripped off.  Officers additionally found what appeared to be drugs and drug paraphernalia belonging to the accused 26 year-old male.

Morlan states that warrants have been issued charging Stephen Genovese, III with a Class D Felony for going armed with intent, a serious misdemeanor for fourth-degree criminal mischief, a second offense for possession of marijuana, and simple misdemeanors for assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both Anthony Genovese and Hollie Millard are charged with serious misdemeanors for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
