A deputy responded to assist with a fire call in the 300 block of North Locust Street in Jefferson.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on Highway 144 near U Avenue.

The Sheriff was dispatched to a reported burglary and theft of a ladder from an unoccupied residence in the 2400 block of Eaton Avenue.

The sheriff was asked to check the welfare of an elderly female in the 2000 block of T Avenue. The female was located with family members.

The sheriff was dispatched to the 100 block of 200th Street for the reported theft of diesel fuel. The theft is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office at this time.

A deputy spoke with a Grand Junction resident in the 300 block of North 18th Street about a domestic civil issue.

A deputy was not able to locate a reported dog running at large in the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a domestic altercation in the 500 block of East State Street in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
