With approximately 400 home improvement entries by Guthrie County 4-H’ers judged at the Iowa State Fair, three walked away with ribbons.

Anna Lauritsen and Zoie Shook, both of Guthrie Center, earned blue ribbons in Home Improvement and Madeline Knapp of Linden earned a red ribbon.

According to Mollie Clark, Guthrie County Youth Coordinator, says that ‘4-H’ers can learn to master several skills through the home improvement projects. They need to set their goals early in the year and map out a way to accomplish those goals.’
