The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn fall sports teams are in full swing with practices and some are gearing up next week for competitions.

The Tiger volleyball team will have its first set of matches when they travel to a six-team Newton tournament on Tuesday, August 26th.  Their first Raccoon River Conference opponent will be the Perry Bluejays at home in Adel on September 9th.

The ADM football team begins its season with a non-district matchup with the Perry Bluejays in the inaugural Rock Hunger game from Adel this Friday, August 29th.  That game can be heard on KKRF with our coverage to begin at 6:45pm and kickoff at 7:30pm.  The first district game for the Tigers will also be at home against Dallas Center-Grimes on September 12th.

Finally, the Tiger cross country team will see its first competitive race on September 4th when they travel to Urbandale Middle School for a race at 5pm.
