The Sheriff checked for a deer along the roadway on Highway 30 near the Raccoon River Bridge, after a motorist reported a deer running onto the highway, striking her car. She continued onto work so a report was not taken and the deer was never located.

A deputy served a No Contact Order to a male in the 500 block of South 11th Street in Grand Junction. The male was required to vacate the house.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff and K9 Leo searched a vehicle in the 300 block of South 7th Street in Grand Junction and subsequently arrested Rebecca Lynn Chumbley 30, of Grand Junction for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance, marijuana.

 A deputy was asked to remove a lethargic or sick cat that was near a residence in the 400 block of South 12th Street in Grand Junction. It appears the cat may have been struck by a car.

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of South 13th Street in Grand Junction to help mediate a domestic altercation.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of North 18th Street in Grand Junction to help resolve a civil property dispute.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
