Yesterday in our sports, Perry football coach Jason Olejniczak stressed the need of consistency from his team as they get set to tackle Caroll this Friday night.  We asked him how you accomplish consistency with a young high school football team and how you address it during the week of practice.

“You nailed it. It’s  hard for young people to understand that you know you’re going to play like you practice. We preach it all the time that every rep matters and we haven’t got to that point yet. That’s something that I am always talking about and yelling about to the guys.  Each rep matters in practice and they need to take that approach.  You really do practice how you play.”

Perry will look to make it two wins a row Friday night when they host Carroll.
