Greene County’s volleyball team travels to Colfax tonight to face the Tigerhawks of Colfax-Mingo in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play. This is the second long road trip this week for Coach Donna Carhill’s team. The Rams won on Tuesday night vs. PCM in five sets in Monroe by scores of 29-27, 17-25, 26-24, 27-29, 15-10. Nadia Fisher led in kills with 15 and Marissa Promes had 10. Emma Saddoris was the digs leader with 23 and Tressa Rasmussen had 11. Mollie Sorber was 19 of 23 serving and she had 20 assists. Bailey Godwin had 14 assists. Rasmussen was 19 of 19 serving and Stacy Mears was 17 of 17 at the service line with one ace.

Greene County is 7-7 overall and 2-2 in HOIAC action. They are 18-19 in sets. The PCM and C-M trips are the two longest dual meet trips of the season and both are in the same week and both on school nights.
