Greene County goes to Webster City tonight for Class 3A District 2 football. Coverage on KG98 begins at 6:45 p.m. with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. The Rams are playing on the road for just the second time this season and they are looking for their first victory away from Linduska Field. Greene County and Webster City are both 1-3 on the season and both have victories over Algona. The Rams are 1-0 in district play while the Lynx are 1-1 in the district.

The Rams average just 12 points per game on offense and are giving up just over 14 per contest while the Lynx put 63 on the board last week to raise their offensive average to more than 27 per contest. Webster City allowed just seven points a week ago, which lowered their defensive average to 31.5 points per contest.

Junior Gavin Dinsdale leads the Lynx in rushing yards and he ranks 10th in Class 3A with 549 yards. Dinsdale also has nine touchdowns and is averaging seven yards per carry…

Senior Dylan Hamilton is Greene County’s leading rusher with 423 yards and an average of 5.3 yards per carry.

After tonight, only four regular season games remain on the schedule.
