ADM cross country is finally racing again, and for the first time in two weeks. This evening the Tigers will run in the Perry Community School Leon Fox Cross Country Invitational, which was moved from last Thursday to today because of inclement weather.

That postponement sets up one of the busiest stretches of the year for the Tigers. Starting with tonight’s invitational, ADM will run in three meets in seven days, whereas normally the Tigers have at least three or four days in between races, and often more.

On Thursday, the Tigers head to the Atlantic Country Club for an invitational. On Monday, Oct. 13, they wrap up the hectic slew of races with a Raccoon River Conference meet  at Terrace Hills in Altoona. In that meet, ADM will compete exclusively against its conference rivals, which includes Boone, Carlisle, Carroll, Perry, Winterset, Ballard and Bondurant-Farrar.
