Both the ADM boys and girls cross country teams ran in the Raccoon River Conference meet Thursday afternoon at Terrace Hills country club in Altoona. Official results received Friday confirmed  that three Tigers runners earned All-conference recognition.

For boys varsity, seniors Trevor Harsh and Kyle Ferguson finished inside the top 20 to earn All-conference honors, while freshman Ashlie Hauf did so on the girls side.

In the boy’s varsity 5K, Ferguson finished 15th with a time of 17:40.56. Harsh was just one spot behind him with a time of 17:42.06. The scoring five for the Tigers was rounded out by Luke Huen (31st, 18:40.68), Connor Slater (32nd, 18:41.56) and Brady Meier (38th, 19:20.59). ADM overall finished 6th out of the seven Raccoon River Conference teams.

In the girl’s varsity 4K, freshman Ashlie Hauf just made the All-conference cutoff by finishing 20th with a time of 17:30. Senior Jenny Wicks was just behind her in 21st with a time of 17:31.10. Sidney Englenman (23rd, 17:39.47), Kylie Hauf (25th, 17:58.28) and Jillian Hoffman (26th, 17:58.54) were the Tigers’ next three runners in. That group of five scoring runners earned ADM a fourth place finish out of six girls varsity teams.

Next up for ADM is the state qualifying meet on Thursday at Perry Golf & Country Club.
