ADM Volleyball wrapped up the regular season last night, falling in four sets at Carroll. Despite the loss, ADM head coach Mary Beth Scott was upbeat, saying her team played well in what was a high-quality match.

The numbers bear that out as well, as ADM lost two sets by five points and another by four. The No. 13 Tigers dropped the first two sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-21, but then won the third set 25-17 to stay alive. Carroll put ADM away with a 25-20 victory in set number four.

After roaring to an 11-2 start to the season, ADM played .500 ball the rest of the way, going 10-10 to finish the regular season 21-13 overall and 4-3 in Raccoon River Conference play. The Tigers started strong in conference play as well, jumping out to a 3-1 record against Raccoon River opponents before fading some at the end of the year.

Nonetheless, ADM and its veteran roster are well-positioned to make a postseason run. The Tigers have a first-round bye in the regional playoffs, which begin Monday. ADM will host the winner of Winterset and Norwalk from the first round on Thursday, Oct. 30.
