ADM football’s season came to an end Wednesday night with a blowout loss to the Carroll Tigers. Including the playoff loss, ADM finished 5-5 this season, and it was an accomplishment to have made the playoffs after a slow start to the year.

ADM’s season was highlighted  by several notable performances from key seniors. In all, the Tigers are losing 14 seniors, but only eight of those soon-to-be graduates were full-time starters. ADM’s future looks bright thanks to talented junior and sophomore classes, but here’s a look at how ADM’s seniors performed this season.

ADM takes its biggest hit in the receiving corps, where the top three options were all seniors. Jake Sloss lead the way with a whopping 1,002 yards on 55 catches and 11 receiving touchdowns. His twin brother, Joe, was next with 724 yards on 40 grabs and four scores. Johnny Reel was the third-leading receiver with 405 yards on 50 catches and one touchdown.

Reel also proved valuable out of the backfield as one of two options in the split-backs formation, especially after starting running back Blake Crannell tore his ACL in week eight. Reel finished with 149 yards rushing on 33 carries and four touchdowns. Fellow senior Logan Lemke also filled the void left by Reel, and finished with 94 yards on 22 carries.

Defensively, Joe Sloss hawked to the ball from his safety position, and lead ADM with seven interceptions to go along with six 57.5 tackles. Brother Jake, meanwhile, chipped in 33.5 tackles. Linebacker Jesse Huen and corner Jaxon Sloan also made solid contributions to the defense both in coverage and in run support.

Elijah McCartney was a good compliment to fellow defensive end Jacob Hardy, finishing with 43.5 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.  McCartney also anchored ADM’s offensive line as starting center. Fellow senior Colin Gavin was right next to him the whole season at right guard.

Not to be forgotten is senior linebacker and left guard Zach Ostendorf, who finished with 62.5 tackles and two tackles for loss.
