Greene County High School cross-country coach Kelly Simpson released awards for the recently completed season. Girls’ letter winners were Cassidy Adamson, Emily Christensen, Emily Finch, Noelle Gray, Olivia Hansen, Eme Johnson, Regan Lamoureux, Sarah Sandage, and Jolee Wessling. Boys’ letter winners were Kane Borgeson, Landon Braun, Anthony Cunningham, Michael Eischeid, Logan Egeland, Nick Killion, Ethan Woodruff, and Abe Yoder.

Hansen was most valuable runner for the girls’ team while both Braun and Egeland were most valuable boys’ runners. Kane Borgeson and Emily Finch were named most improved newcomers while Emma Larson and Nathan Kennedy were voted most improved runners. Braun, Egeland, and Yoder were named boys’ Captains with Christensen, Gray, Johnson, and Wessling girls’ Captains. The Team Award for volunteering time to benefit the program went to volunteer coach Pat Gearhardt and Frank Adamson.
