Perry senior Will Whiton has received a lot of offers from colleges and universities wanting the All Stater to bring his speed and skill to their campuses.  Whiton has been looked at from Divsion I schools such as Iowa and Northern Iowa, to FCS programs and even powerful Division II schools including Northwest Missouri State.  Whiton has not made a decision yet but Perry Head Coach Jason Olejniczak knows the sky is the limit for his future at the next level.

“Will is a tremendous talent who will be playing somewhere next year.  I know a lot of coaches love his speed and athleticism and are looking hard at wide receiver.  Others will try to utilize his speed and instincts at the cornerback position.  Wherever he decides, he is going to do well.  He has enjoyed a remarkable career here in Perry and I know somebody will be able to take advantage of his skill set and improve their program.  It will be fun to watch his future develop.”

Whiton and the Jays will hold their end of season banquet tonight beginning at 6:00 in the High School Commons.
